Terms of Use

These terms cover every Riddlewick game — Flag Detective, Football Detective and History Detective — this website, and the support we provide for them. In these terms, "the app" means whichever of our games you are using, and "we" means Riddlewick.
1. Agreement
By downloading, accessing or using a Riddlewick game, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app. These terms apply to the mobile apps, this website, daily cases, purchases, advertising and related services.
2. Eligibility and acceptable use
You may use our games for personal, non-commercial entertainment and learning. You must follow applicable laws and app-store rules. You may not cheat, exploit bugs, interfere with our services, reverse engineer where prohibited, automate access, distribute altered copies, or use the app to harm others.
3. Gameplay and local data
Scores, coins, settings, unlocks, archive discoveries, daily case results and other progress are stored on your device. Removing the app, clearing storage, changing devices or device failure may permanently remove local progress. We do not guarantee recovery or synchronisation of local data.
4. Virtual items
Coins, lives, jokers, unlocks and other virtual items have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and are licensed only for use inside the game where you obtained them. They do not transfer between our games. Balances may be corrected if affected by an error, fraud, refund or abuse.
5. Purchases and refunds
Coin packs and the one-time "Remove Ads" purchase are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play and may be supported by RevenueCat. Prices, taxes, billing, cancellation and refunds are governed by the store you purchased from. "Remove Ads" removes automatic banner and interstitial ads; optional rewarded ads, store notices and consent notices may still appear where required.
6. Advertising and third-party services
Our games may use Google AdMob for banner, interstitial and rewarded advertising. External services and links have their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for third-party content, availability or decisions.
7. Daily Case
Where a game offers a Daily Case, the day it belongs to is decided by our server rather than by your device clock, so that every player gets the same single case. Attempting to gain extra plays by changing your device clock, tampering with local data or otherwise circumventing this check is a breach of these terms. Daily content may be unavailable while you are offline or during maintenance.
8. Notifications
If you enable reminders, the app schedules a local notification on your device. Delivery timing is controlled by the operating system and is not guaranteed. You can disable reminders in the app or in your device settings.
9. Intellectual property
Our software, design, text, audio, icons and original artwork are owned by or licensed to Riddlewick and protected by applicable laws. Flags, factual geographic, sporting and historical information may be public-domain or subject to their own rules. Names, clubs, events and places are used for identification and educational purposes only, and no affiliation or endorsement is implied. No ownership rights are transferred to you.
10. Content accuracy
Questions, dates, statistics and explanations are provided for general information and entertainment. They may contain errors or become outdated. If you find a wrong or unfair question, please report it through the support page — corrections ship in later updates.
11. Updates and availability
Features, content, prices, supported devices and these terms may change. We may update, suspend or discontinue parts of a game where reasonably necessary. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
12. Disclaimer
Our games and this website are provided "as is" and "as available" to the extent permitted by law, without warranties of any kind.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Riddlewick is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, progress, profits or access arising from use of our games or website. Nothing here excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
14. Termination
You may stop using our games at any time. Access may be limited or terminated for material breach, fraud, abuse, security risk or legal requirements. Provisions intended to survive termination remain effective.
15. Privacy, changes and contact
